Theresa is a Senior Associate with Cerus Consulting. Theresa has a multi-leveled perspective on communication pathways between academia, practitioners, and communities influenced by her experience as a paramedic and time spent working in pre-clinical cancer research.  More recently, at the University of South Carolina, she helped coordinate the statewide evaluation for the Community Transformation Grant.  She worked closely with researchers, practitioners, and communities to develop and coordinate program evaluations and quality improvement efforts on several statewide programs focusing on tobacco cessation, worksite wellness, and increasing physical activity.

Theresa holds bachelors degrees in Animal Science and Zoology from North Carolina State University, and a master's of public health degree from the University of South Carolina.
